This weekend was actually pretty exciting. My sister Carla and her family visited us and brought a new addition to the Bowers clan. We got one of their Jack Russell terrier pups, named appropriately, “Sugar” because she is so sweet. I know that this is not in keeping with my Jiu-Jitsu tough guy persona, but dog gone it, I love puppies!
Thanks very much to VideoCopilot.net, I've recently been able to really improve my visual effects skills. I've followed some of VCP's brilliant tutorials and have even been able to apply some of this learning to some shots in the film. You can check out one of my test clips posted on YouTube here.
Well, I guess I’d have to admit that even though things are completely dialed in as of yet, I’m pretty stoked about the way my new home theater is shaping up. Don’t get me wrong. The installers, the carpenter and the painted still have work to do. At least now, I can actually watch a movie and start enjoying the fruits of many thousands of dollars spent.
