Last evening, George and I moved the editing pc down two flights to the basement studio. We pretty much got everything setup for the long months of editing that lie ahead on C For Chaos. As a little warm up we've decided to take a crack at editing the recent attrition show the guys shot in Raleigh a few weeks back. Attrition has made available it's entire catalog for use in out film. Trust me when I say that this is a big deal. The music itself is almost custom made for the kind of genre our film is most closely associated with.

But, I digress. We started the editing on that project last night. We were logging clips and then while it captured contents from 2 of the 3 angles watching an awesome film called “Slither” in between. I guess Geo left about 12:30 or so and I messed around with testing some video effects on the footage and doing a little throw away edit of the first song until probably 1:30. Other than needing to add maybe another lamp and a space heater, the basement space is pretty cozy for a job like this. There's a bathroom with a shower, a small fridge, a few chairs, my jiu-jitsu mat if you really need to lie down and a comfortable 2 seater sofa. Considering my time spent editing at Streebo's I appreciate the amenities and hope the rest of the producers do as well.
